We collect minimal personal information: • Email address — when you join the waitlist or submit a contact form. • Name (optional) — if you choose to provide it via the contact form. • Usage data — anonymized, aggregate data about how the Service is used (pages visited, features used, queries made). • Documents — files you upload to the Service for processing and search.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your email is used to: • Send waitlist confirmation and product launch notifications. • Respond to contact form inquiries. • Send critical service updates (e.g., security incidents, terms changes). We do not send marketing emails beyond product launch notifications without your explicit consent.
3. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your email, documents, and usage data are not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any party not directly involved in providing the Service.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal, functional cookies necessary to operate the Service (e.g., session management, CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers. We may use basic analytics to understand traffic patterns, but this data is anonymized and aggregated.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services to operate: • Vercel — application hosting and deployment. Data may be processed on their infrastructure. • Resend — transactional email delivery for waitlist confirmations and contact form notifications. • AI Providers — when using BYOK, your queries are sent directly to the AI provider whose API key you provide. PermitScope does not intercept or store these API keys beyond the session. Each third-party provider operates under their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
6. Data Retention
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or the Service is discontinued. Uploaded documents and query history are retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted within 30 days of account termination upon request. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months for follow-up purposes, then deleted.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (TLS) and secure infrastructure via Vercel. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to: • Request access to the personal data we hold about you. • Request deletion of your personal data. • Opt out of any non-essential communications. • Export or delete your uploaded documents at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@permitscope.ai.
